Yonder Media Mobile (YMM) was formed in July 2018 in New York City, USA to seamlessly merge connectivity (mobile voice, messaging and data) with content (such as music, video, karaoke, lip sync, live streamed events etc.) in ways that delivers to customers money can’t buy experiences, which are then distributed by Yo Mobile, the first Mobile Virtual Experience Provider (“MVXP”) on Earth.

It is expected that Yo Mobile will launch in Colombia and Mexico in 2019.

Job Purpose: Play a key role in the management of the company as strategic partner to CEO. Serve as part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and assist other SMT members in ensure operational efficiency to meet business objectives.

Director of Operations:

  • Responsible for identifying, developing and implementing strategies designed to meet KPI’s and business objectives:
    • Organize and gather information from various departments/meetings and develop recommendations to present to the SMT
    • Help find consensus among multiple stakeholders and drive decision-making process
    • Implement agreed strategies and evaluate team and employee performance and productivity
  • Ensure ongoing and effective communication between the remote tech/dev/prod team and NY based business unit Lead Human Resource function; recruitment, onboarding, benefit programs (PEO), policy development and performance management
  • Foster a dynamic work culture, productive relationships and mediate differences between cross-functional teams and multi-regional offices
  • Supervise internal and external communications to ensure consistency with Company mission and objectives Plan Company, SMT and Investor meetings and development of required materials
  • Create and manage budgets while overseeing AP process
  • Carry out other duties as necessary, which may include document storage and calendar management

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience within growing fast-paced start-up environments
  • Industry Experience within Telecommunications or Technology Development
  • Excellent Written, Oral, Presentation & Organizational Skills
  • Flexible and willing to perform varying duties depending on the shifting needs of the company and the team
